Chapter Three
"Sage"

Rowen: OH GOD! NOT SAGE!
Katy: No, I think it is talking about the SAGES in the game!
Rowen: *hyperventilating from fear* Really?
Katy: Yes!  Really!
Rowen: *calms* Okay.

Sage.

Livy: Spatula.
Professor G: Cyanide.
Trowa: Ether rag.

Link ran to where the Deku tree stood lifelessly. He spotted a shrub that grew harshly.

Trowa: How do you grow harshly?

It struggled to dig its roots into the ground, but stood tall and proud.

It told like of how he had come to live in the forest.

Livy: Wow! Like, that Deku Shrub sure tells a good story!

Yet again, Link was told of his destiny.

Rowen: But we won't get told.

Hearing the wise words of the young sprout,

Kain: I can't even BEGIN to talkabout how wrong that sounds.

 Link regained his confidence.

He set out into the lost woods and found that Saria was

Professor G: hung by her neck from a tree.

nowhere in sight. Link heard slow steady steps from behind him and quickly turned. His steady

Katy: So both the footsteps AND his vision was steady.
Kain: Maybe they were going steady.

 vision reviled

Rowen: Unfortunately for Link, his vision reviled him.
Trowa: Sort of like we revile this fanfic.
Katy: And I revile the fact that the author doesn't know what revile means.

a young man that was staring at him.

Link heard the young man speak, and his voice was vaguely familiar.

Kain:... Um but not familiar enough to mention who the crap this guy is.

He listened to his tales, and was told once again of what he must do.

Livy: I like how we keep getting told that people are telling him things... but it's always just a vague description.
Professor G: Stuff happened. It was bad. Link swelled with pride.
Katy: I'm guessing the author actually doesn't know WHAT Link has to do.

Link rolled his eyes as if it were a simply task.

He did as he was told and soon found that it was not simple. Confusing puzzles and deadly enemies were around every corner in the temple.

Trowa: Literally, those puzzles littering the floor were damn hard.
Rowen: Link hated every puzzle that had over 10 pieces to it.

The dimly lit rooms spun slightly as the sister Poe

Kain: As opposed to the brother Poe?

danced around him. She split into many, making his head spin. He took out his bow and an arrow and positioned it into his bow. He drew back the twine and let an arrow fly toward the real Poe sister.

All: What?!
Livy: What? When did he get in the temple? When did the Poe sisters get there? I'm so confused!
Kain: There was one line there, but it was easy to miss.
Livy: *holds head in hands*
Professor G: Then he strapped the bow to his back, fixed his tunic, tucked his leggings into his boots, brushed his hair back, and did the two-step.

She burst into

Rowen: A song and dance!

flames. A plat-form rose in the middle of the room, and led to an underground passage. Link hesitantly stepped into the elevator like contraption

Trowa: Well, was it an elevator or not?

, and watched as he was pulled down , deep into the earth. It reveled yet another complex, and mysterious puzzle for him to solve. Eventually, he figured it out, and found a long passageway, that beckoned him to enter.

Kain: (as Passageway) Come on, come on, a little closer...
Livy: (As Passageway)  Link... come... I have cookies for you... and the newest issue of Playboy with Zelda on the front...
Professor G: (As Link) Hot dog!

Link listened to his footsteps on the cold hard ground. Ahead of him, he found himself

Katy: (as Link) It's me!! What am I doing there?

in a circular room with many portraits of the same night scene.

All: ....
Katy: The art major in me cries.
Trowa: Perhaps "Night Scene" is actually another Indian name, and he had portraits commissioned.

He took slow hesitant steps toward the center of the room. A strange sound was muffled by another.

Livy: (As one of the strange sounds) I never get to foretell the coming of a creepy villain! *pouts*

Link turned swiftly, and a demon on a horse was reveled

Kain: What?!
Rowen: Maybe it was reviled again.

into his field of vision.

He tried to swallow the gasp that was rising in his throat, but to no avail.

Trowa: He vomited up the gasp and it lay twitching on the floor.
Rowen: The cold, hard floor, remember?

The horse pawed eagerly at the ground. A chilling laugh rang out into the small room, as barriers appeared around the perimeter of the room. The horse sprang into the nearest painting, and receded into the distance.

All: TIME SKIP!

After what seemed like hourse of fighting

Kain: Hours which seemed SO long that we will merely skip over them.
Professor G: -, but was really only ten seconds,

, Link let the last shot fly. He found himself incased in a crystal made of blue glass. It took him to the temple of time.

There, Link say Saria.

Livy: (As Link) Saria.
Katy: Where Saria.
Rowen: There Saria.  There temple.
Katy: Why are we talking this way?
Rowen: I though you wanted to.
Katy: No, I don't.
Rowen: Okay.

She looked sad about something. She seemed troubled in a way.

"Hello Link. I awaited the day when you would return to me. Seven years went by without me seeing you. But now, I look at you, to find that now, your body matches your mind.

Trowa: (as Link) *looks down at his demented three-year-old body* Aw, shit.

You have already endoured things that many people would never be able to handle. You truly are amazing Link. You were allways more mature than any of the Kakori

Professor G: -, as she turned a seductive glance towards his crotch.
Kain: But not the Kokiri, cause those kids are actually smart.
Rowen: Well, those Kakori ARE at the shallow end of the brain pool.

, and we had already lived a hundred lifetimes."Saria Said kindly. She looked down at the platform she was standing on. Saria sighed deeply and looked up at Link. " Link, I am a Sage. I can never leave the temple. I am bound here by the threads of time.

Trowa: (as Saria) Gosh these threads of time are like sticky spiderwebs!

But I bestow upon you, my power in this medallion. Good Bye, Link…” Saria Faded into nothing more than dust.

Katy: She was a VAMPIRE! Oh no!

Before he knew it, he was back in the forest.

Link sank to his knees and slammed his fists on the ground. Slow hot tears poured down his face, and he stumbled while trying to stand.

Rowen: Link, you're such a drunkard.

He walked out of the ever inviting forest, into the mists that bore the magic of the field…

Livy: Magic field? Mists? What? Am I missing something?
Katy: I don't get it either.

I am sooooo sorry it was a short chapter!!!

All: We're not!!

I wantd to get it over with, to try and explain that Link is Adult enough to fall in love...

Trowa: Oh geez, I knew it.
Rowen: Notice that he is so adult, he can capitalize it.
Professor G: Oooooh, great. I know exactly where this is leading.
Livy: *stabs herself* Maybe if I kill myself I won't have to endure it!
Kain: I already tried, it didn't work. *shows wrists*

OH and he is NOT in love w/ Saria. I am really sorry for spelling mistakes, I am not goot at spelling.

Katy: So get a spellchecker!

Not the story will take a twist to my own individuality! MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
